Leaders Forums
Be Part of the Discussion

What’s a Forum?

Leaders Forums are small gatherings of the influencers, movers & shakers, and senior leaders in archives, libraries and museums. Forums explore themes linked to relevant topics that surface through Lyrasis Research, our Catalyst Fund program, or conversations with members. They provide an opportunity to explore ideas, challenges, and solutions through presentations, panels, roundtable and breakout discussions. Forums are open for all Leaders Circle members and to special guests by invitation. Forums are held in-person and virtually.

What do Forums Impact?

In 2016, the first-ever Leaders Forums were held across the United States. Discussions at these forums led to creating the Leaders Circle and the Catalyst Fund, two foundational programs in the Lyrasis innovation infrastructure. Since then, Forums have focused on themes such as Local to Global, Experiments In Innovation, Leading in the New Now, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Scholarly Communications, and Innovating through a Downturn. Forums play a critical role in the debate and decision of which research topics are undertaken by the Lyrasis Research team each year.

What do Participants Value about Forums?

“What I always appreciate about these kinds of events is the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and participate in big picture, future-focused conversations with colleagues from different kinds of institutions.”
