Disaster Planning & Response
Lyrasis Consulting staff have been working with libraries, archives, museums and arts organizations nationwide during the initial weeks of 2025 as we are seeing wildfires in California, and snow and ice damage in the Eastern half of the country. We are checking in with Lyrasis member and partner organizations in areas affected by emergencies and large-scale disasters.
We are always available for immediate response to emergency situations. Please contact us at the email or phone numbers below.

The risk of disasters, whether big or small, can continually keep collections in jeopardy. Lyrasis can help you to improve an existing disaster plan, or develop a new plan for your organization.
Determining the risks to your building, staff and patrons, and collections, we help you develop a plan which will help to keep people and collections safe. We can review your current plan, or provide templates and recommendations as you develop a brand new All-Hazards Plan that addresses natural and human-caused disasters.
Both Tom and Katy were ALWAYS available to communicate, and were willing to do so using any format possible — in person, phone, email.
